RWE challenged the Hunts' team to create a hybrid space that encouraged their people back into the office — where group interactions would foster knowledge transfer and learning — creating the opportunity to build team spirit and a sense of belonging to something bigger.

For many of the newer members of the company — this would be their first experience of working in a professional office space — meeting work colleagues for the first time face-to-face.

Offering a relaxed and flexible space, staff are empowered to choose the environment that best supports their work function and style with the flexibility to move around the space throughout the day as their individual needs change.

As a regional hub, the new office means that an otherwise lengthy commute to head office has effectively been eliminated, and the sense of individual control over the traditional working day has allowed for a healthier work-life balance.
