Baskerville House is a grade II listed building in Centenary Square in central Birmingham, UCB had taken the 5th floor of the building and half of the floor they wanted to develop into Conferencing facilities both for them and for companies across the Midlands including the chamber of commerce to hire.
The project was allocated a set budget and initial architectural plans for the area, with Hunts providing design support specifically for the soft seating area that extended along the length of the floor. The University fully approved the proposal, and after orders were placed, the installation was completed in December 2024. For the two main conference rooms, we selected Senator Ad-lib tables and Rapt conference chairs. In the open seating areas, they incorporated Profim Softbox seating, Elite tables, and Cubeform and Moventi Rova dividers. The main presentation area featured banqueting tables and Edit Filo chairs, accommodating up to 110 people.
