AftD responds to the demand for greater variety in setups, accommodating both individual tasks and collaborative projects. Moreover, these choices can be further personalised to encompass more spacious, open, and inclusive collaborative arrangements, whether at lounge, table, or café settings.
The elevated back design of AftD provides refined acoustic and visual privacy, encouraging an upright, ergonomically optimised seating posture similar to that of a task chair. It also offers a variety of configuration possibilities, catering to both expansive and compact work surfaces, while simultaneously meeting a wide range of power, data, and monitor requirements.
Through collaborative efforts with our clients, as well as their designers and specifiers, AftD contributes to the transformation of office environments and work methodologies. Similarly, drawing a loose parallel to how the 'Hoover' brand led to the verb 'to hoover' (although we refrain from making direct comparisons between their stories!), AftD has emerged as a prominent model within the industry, functioning as a verb symbolising the ability to progressively move beyond the traditional desk.
