Product Description
Steelcase Series 2 is available as a standard-height task chair or as a draughtsman office stool. An optional head rest adds additional comfort and convenience.
- Series 2 can be stylish with upholstery that is smooth or quilted. It can have an attractive geometric back design without upholstery upholstery or warming it up with 3D Microknit.
- Series 2 chair features Steelcase's signature Air LiveBack® technology. Air LiveBack® technology works through an innovative geometric design that provides sophisticated support.
- Breathable and transparent, the wave pattern is scaled to provide appropriate support for each part of your spine. It flexes in 2 dimensions as you move to create responsive, personalised comfort and fit.
- The Series 2 Upholstered Office Task Chair is manufactured for commercial office use and comes with an 12-year warranty* (please see product specification for full details).
Air LiveBack
Air LiveBack technology works through an innovative geometric design that provides sophisticated support. Breathable and transparent, the specially engineered wave pattern is scaled to provide appropriate support for each part of your spine. It flexes in two dimensions as you move to create responsive, personalised comfort and fit.
Height-Adjustable Lumbar
The height-adjustable lumbar provides additional back support, fitting comfortably in the curve of your back.
Responsive Back Tension
The weight-activated back tension mechanism responds automatically as you sit to create appropriate ergonomic support – with three settings you can adjust for further comfort. The manually adjustable mechanism features 14 settings to provide the ultimate in personalised back tension. On both versions, seat and backrest stay synchronised for comfort as you recline.
4D Adjustable Independent Armrests
Armrests adjust in four dimensions – height, width, depth and pivot – to support neck and shoulders in postures right for work, even as you change tasks, move and collaborate. Armrests remain parallel to the worksurface at every angle of recline so you can stay on task.
Dynamic Seat
Adaptive seat bolstering conforms to your shape to create instant comfort. Seat depth adjusts to suit your position, and flexible seat edge makes room for movement.
